I really liked this product. It's been discontinued but I stocked up so I still have a couple of them left. The only complaint I have is that it's almost a bit clay like so it gets pretty difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I actually squeeze the entire tube out and put in a jar like container. It cleans so well, leaving skin clean, matte, lightly scented. Great for combo/oily skin. Husband really likes it too!

This cleanser is great if you have very oily skin...it is a gentle cleanser and your skin feels clean without being stripped and feeling dry...love it!

REALLY made my pores more clean and therefore, smaller, Unfortunately, Avon discontinued this - like they always do. Boo, Avon! You're so fickle.

Oh YES it's really good. It's mattifying, controls shine. Oily blemish prone skin will love this. TRY!

I used to use this in the summer when my skin would get oily and it worked great! It did make a noticeable difference in making my pores smaller too.

The Pore-fection Cleanser in the pump was very effective at controlling breakouts. It's so-so as a cleanser--it was drying and did not remove dirt and oil as well--so I just used it as a medicated face wash. I found that one drop every 12 hours is just enough to keep those pimple at bay, so it does last a long time. I emailed Avon about it being discontinued and did get an affirmative from the company. Avon has a new 30-dollar acne regimen that they're pushing at the moment. I think it's suppose to rival Proactiv. Such a shame. I would've purchased more of the pump cleanser.

I love this face wash! I have acne prone skin that tends to get oily. I tried this on a whim as a woman I work with sells Avon. That was nearly 2-and-a-half years ago and since then it is the only face wash I use. It not only cleans the skin but also removed makeup. I see a lot of reviews saying priced between $5-10 dollars but often the Avon catalogues have had it on sale between $3-4 a bottle. That being said, even at $10 it's still a great buy as the tube lasts for atleast 4 months as the cleanser is fairly concentrated so you don't need to use that much. Sadly enough Avon is discontinuing this product and I don't see why as it was really excellent. I already have 2 backup bottles!

After reading all the reviews here, I decided I HAD to try this cleanser b/c I have VERY oily sking. So, I looked and looked and never saw it online. I then emailed Avon...I hate to say it (esp. without ever getting to try it!!) that they told me it's been discontinued!!!! The rep did tell me to make sure to let marketing know if you enjoyed the product b/c they will bring it back or find a replacement (she said no replacement yet).

Onto my second bottle. The first few times I used it, it was really drying and my skin felt tight, but I'm a cheapass and like to finish whatever I buy so I stuck with it and it was really nice after a while. The smell isn't bad..kinda reminds me of melons? Like someone mentioned, I dislike the cap, where if you leave it in the shower, it'll collect water; that's just nasty. But at $10 a bottle and deals on it practically every other week to reduce the price to only $5 a bottle, it is so worth it. I buy my stuff online, so returning it is a hassle for me that I don't like to deal with; hence, I use everything I buy unless it's uber bad for my skin. The True Pore-Fection Mask dried out my skin at first also, but it's great the second and third time, so I stuck with it as well. When I called the customer service about a moisturizer, the girl told me that this line was going to be discontinued soon, and since I can't find the mask anymore online, I think they're going to be discontinued REALLY soon, so stock up while the sales are going on!

My cousin had this and put it in the shower. Before I started using Purity, I used this once in a while when I felt that my skin was too oily. It got rid of dirt and made my skin feel really fresh. It's not meant for my skin type so I would never use it more than once a week. It's a good cleanser. It's better than a lot of the drug store brands out there.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this cleanser. I have extremely oily skin all over and no matter what I do or try, my face is still greasy. And this cleanser REALLY helps my oily skin. It also does not dry out my skin, it provides the perfect amount of balance. ALSO, it really made my large pores smaller. Noticeably SMALLER!! I have never tried anything that worked as well as this product. Now my makeup even looks better after using this product. I will never go back to high-end face cleansers or any other cleanser again!! Definitely TRY it...it's well worth it. I already went ahead and bought 4 bottles!! It's on sale for 30% off right now! :)
And I recently tried the gel cleanser and it is NOT the same. DO NOT purchase the Pore-Fection GEL cleanser. It leaves your skin greasy!

This cleanser is the best cleanser i ever used..better than clinique..lancome esteelauder..etc...i used all high end products! but nuthin beats this cleanser!

I love Avon . . . but I do not love this product. It is extremely drying and has an odd odor. I have acne-prone, sensitive, combo skin (yikes!, I know). . . so this may work better for someone else. However, for me this product was very irritating and caused breakouts. :( (Oh, & I am not fond of the packaging because water collects in the cap & it seems yucky to me.) AMAZING CLEANSER!!! it cleans amazingly well. leaves my skin sooooo soft, smooth, clear, radiant(my skin actually seems to glow), and best of all SHINE FREE! bt no itchy, uncomfortably tight feeling. my skin feels and looks good. and if you leave the cleanser on it dries into a deep cleansing mask. all in all an OUTSTANDING product that i will definitely buy again and again.

Fantastic product. I have blemish-prone skin, big pores and an oily T-zone. Lucky me. However, within a couple of days, my face felt great after using this. The salicylic acid is really effective in fighting acne and clearing out my pores. My pores look smaller and my skin looks tighter. It smells great, doesn't dry out the skin and comes in a good size tube. You can catch it on sale (I recently bought the moisterizer and cleanser together for a good bundle--under 12 bucks, I think) and it's reasonable. Try it. The nice thing about Avon is that you can return anything.

This is an ok product. It cleanses alright, but that's it, it does nothing else for your pores or skin. Its cheap though, and the tube is very large (and you only need a little bit), so that's a plus. It smells ok. Average product, overall, but I have nothing bad to say about it.

I tried this after initially purchasing the True Pore-Fection Gel cleanser. Honestly, I don't know if it's the consistensy of this product or what, but it's fantastic. This product doesn't overdry my skin, and the light Pore-Fection moisturizer I use afterwards is also great. The only time my skin gets oily now is weather-related (if it's damp or sweaty out). I've even used the Proactiv line and would still choose this cleanser over the Proactiv cleanser.

Oh how I love this product! I bought a little tube off of eBay for a couple of dollars.. and wow. I've been getting many compliments on my skin lately. I haven't had to use any facial masks like I normally do. I wear full coverage makeup, so I really need a good cleanser to help keep my skin looking good! I just have to use this cleanser at night, and then after I rinse it off I use witch hazel for a toner. I love the cool, fresh feel of my skin afterwards. My pores are noticeably smaller and my skin looks smoother. Definitely will repurchase again.

i love this cleanser. now i actually dont have to blot my oily t-zone by midday coz i dont look so oily anymore. i use this cleanser everyday in combination with the olay age defying cream and my HG avon pore-fection mask once a week and it made my face so clean and clear i cant even remember how my skin used to look like. oh and the pump dispenser is very convenient.

I love this product. It makes my face so tight and really feels clean and refreshed. This is the first product that actually does what it saids. No oil, so good. Forget Neutrogena Oil control cream cleanser, THIS IS soo much better. definitely a keeper!
